Here’s What to Know About the 2025 Doc’n Roll Film Festival in NYC

Get ready for the 2025 edition of the Doc’n Roll Film Festival, landing in Manhattan and Brooklyn from April 30th to May 9th!

Founded in the UK in 2013 and recently expanded to Amsterdam, Doc’n Roll is now returning for its third NYC edition—bringing a lineup of music-driven documentaries to some of the city’s most iconic indie cinemas.

This year’s festival will feature eight films, one per day, with opening and closing night receptions hosted at each location of the Ace Hotel.

April 30 – May 3: Screenings at The Roxy Cinema in Tribeca

May 4 – May 5: Screenings at Nitehawk Williamsburg

May 6 – May 7: Screenings at Nitehawk Prospect Park
